Registry-style ceremonies by civil celebrants, not a government registry office. No fuss, no frills, no wedding. Just paperwork.

ID Requirements for Marriage

Before we can marry you, we need to sight the right documents.

You will usually need:

  • a birth certificate, or a passport
  • photo ID if needed
  • divorce papers if you have been married before
  • a death certificate if you are widowed
  • change of name evidence if your current name is different

If your documents are not in English

Bring the original documents and a translation.

Good to know

  • Start gathering documents early.
  • Make sure names and dates are consistent.
  • If something is missing, ask us before the day.

If you still need to prepare the NOIM, use NOIM Easy.
