Becoming a Marriage Celebrant
If you genuinely want to become a marriage celebrant, use the official Commonwealth information and training pathways.
If you only want a friend involved in one ceremony, becoming a celebrant is usually far more work than you need.
The easier option is:
- we do the legal marriage
- your friend leads a symbolic ceremony later
See having a friend marry you for that option.
Ready to get married?
Click the Get Married link to get started. You book and pay first, then prepare your NOIM, have it witnessed, and send it to us. Once we receive the paperwork, we confirm the date, time, and place based on availability. We are private celebrants, not a government registry. Need a full ceremony? Josh Withers. Need an elopement? Elopement Collective.
